Jericho is our True Black Champion Herdsire. His fleece is jet black to the tips and extremely lustrous. He has uniform pencil locks right to the skin and he has amazing density for Black! His sire is the award winning herdsire from Ameripaca, AABC Zeplin.
He has performed well in the show ring, despite his limited exposure. Jericho took 2nd at the 2007 Buckeye Show and 1st and Reserve Champion at the 2007 AOBA National Show! The 2007 AOBA show consisted of 51 Black Suri males and 14 in the Championship class. It was an honor to bring home the Reserve at one of the largest shows of the year!

Degara is a true black. Her dam Adams Peruvian Negrita is a true black. Her sire Ameripaca's Jericho is a Champion true black. Degara's fiber has a cool slick handle, with a great lock structure and good luster. Her confirmation is excellent, solid bone, straight legs and top line. Degara would be a great addition to any herd. Degara comes with a breeding to any wholly-owned Red Gate herdsire.
Purchase Terms
FINANCING TERMS:
Though we believe that our for sale animals are priced appropriately, all reasonable offers will be considered.
Financing offered up to two years, 25% down at signing and 50% down to take animals home. Interest rate at 1% over prime. Payments will be split into equal monthly payments. No prepayment penalty.
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
All animals sold will be given up to a maximum of 90 days free board with a signed boarding contract in effect. After that time period, standard boarding fees will apply.
Transportation expenses will be the responsibility of the purchaser, unless other agreements are made the the purchase contract.
GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES:
All animals sold at Red Gate Alpaca Farm come with full farm guarantees that include good health, up to date vaccinations,reproductively sound and educational support regarding care and maintenance. Guarantees and warranties will be specific to each sale and spelled out in the purchase contract.
